Before & After School Care

Pennant Hills Before and After School Care (PHBASC) is a non-profit association which provides quality care for our school children from Kindergarten to Year 6. It is run by volunteer parents who ensure its smooth running. It is part of the Sports Commission Active After School Program.

It provides a happy and safe environment in which the children can participate in a range of activities, including craft, sport, games, and cooking. Homework time is timetabled and a chess club is up and running.

The children are provided with nutritious and delicious food for breakfast and afternoon tea, and enjoy developing their social skills by mixing and interacting with other children as they participate in all the activities, some which are timetabled and others informal or free play.

The PHBASC is housed in Bellthorn Cottage, which is on the K-2 site. The 3-6 children are picked up and dropped off by the centre’s staff.

Hours:

Morning: 7.15 am – 9.15 am

Afternoon: 3.15 pm – 6.00 pm
